What does the ROC fee cover?

All of the course content, simulations and orientation are provided free of charge by Medair.
However there is a fee of 500 Euros to cover accommodation and meals for the seven days.

How much will the ROC cost me?

As a New Relief Worker
If Medair determines your profile as having less than 12 months of relevant humanitarian or development work experience, Medair will consider you as a New Relief Worker, and ask you to pay 100 percent of the ROC accommodation and meals cost, as well as your personal travel costs.

As an Experienced Relief Worker
If Medair determines your profile as having 12 months or more of relevant humanitarian or development work experience, we will consider you as an Experienced Relief Worker and will therefore subsidise your ROC accommodation and meals, as well as your personal travel costs by at least 50 percent.
